I walked along the edge of where ocean meets land,
dug my narrow feet into the narrow band of sand.
In the West the dying sun sank and met another edge.
Then grey began, and mauve, and apricot,
to woo another night.
And night did come, to lie upon, the sea, the beach,
and me- to smooth the boundary between us three.

Want to know what you do best? Describe color.
I've never heard apricot used quite the way you just did.

One day I'd like to hear about your experiences though a different lens. One without the distance that metaphors force upon them.
